Verklaring van conflictvrije mineralen<\/h1>\n

\u201cConflictmineralen\u201d \u2013 Op 21 juli 2010 ondertekende president Obama de Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Wall Street Reform Act). Een deel van deze wet is van toepassing op de \u201cconflictmineralen\u201d van goud (Au), tantaal (Ta), wolfraam (W), kobalt (Co) en tin (Sn) uit mijnen in conflictgebieden van de Democratische Republiek Congo ( DRC) en de aangrenzende landen. Deze aangrenzende landen omvatten; Rwanda, Oeganda, Burundi, Tanzania en Kenia.<\/p>\n
