Macrocrystalline Tungsten Carbide Powder
Macrocrystalline Tungsten Carbide (MTC) Powder is made of the featured raw material and is a fully carbonized, dense, and light grayish crystal with a homogeneous microstructure and excellent thermal stability. It has high hardness (≥ 1600 HV0.1), high melting point(2700℃), and excellent wear and impact resistance.
MTC is used to prepare PDC matrix bits powder, Plasma Arc Welding (PTAW) powder, Laser Cladding powder, spray welding materials, cemented carbide wear-resistant electrodes (wire), etc. The primary purpose is to pre-reinforce wear-resistant surfaces or repair worn surfaces for mining, oil & gas, metallurgy, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, and steel industries.
